What is meet the firms?
Meet the Firms is CSUF’s largest accounting event that provides students an opportunity to learn about the profession, network with firms, professionals, and recruiters, and seek potential internships, part-time, or full-time positions at the firm. Many firms and companies use Meet the Firms as a primary source for recruiting CSUF students for positions in the industry.
Who will be at Meet the Firms?
30+ firms, organizations, and companies attended CSUF Spring 2023 Meet the Firms (40+ attended in Fall 2022). Attendees from previous semesters include the Big Four, Mid-Tier, Regional, and Government Accounting Firms. Additionally, various organizations and corporations attend to share about programs and opportunities available to students.
Firm recruiters, professionals, and CSUF firm campus ambassadors share their experiences in the industry with student attendees and share additional opportunities about positions and programs at their firms. Many professionals are CSUF alumni who were previously going through the recruiting process and came to speak about their academic and professional journey after graduating from the school.
